Photo Planning

This is the plan of the Introduction page. The photo is just a simple brick wall running off into the distance. The brick wall is significant and relates to the subject of drugs, smoking and alcohol as it is very grim and has a lot to do with current issues in society about teenagers who hang around on the streets and get up to things they should not because of boredom and lack of thinkgs to do. Furthermore, the wall is straight and not crumbling. This is connoting that out site can give you information that will keep you on track in life and will not be swept into the disasters of smoking, drugs or alcohol.

The picture for drugs is of a girl locked in her bathroom and taking drugs from the toilet seat lid. In our photo, we have dotted about possessions along the floor to show the girl is in a mess. The girl in the picture is in an uncomfortable position and it looks as if she has passed, this is because drugs can make a person pass out or even kill them so we want our audience to see the true horrors.

This is our alcohol picture. We have taken a picture of a teenage boy slumped against a tree, in the dark and with a bottle of alcohol next to him. The boy has got his hood up and is also looking down, we have decided to do this for the photo as the boy is under the influence of alcohol and is tired and therefore extetremely vulnerable. The teenager has no energy in the photo and is an easy target for danger. However, there are street lights in the photo which connote a light at the end of the tunnel and if you read the information and stay clear of an alcohol addiction then things will never be that bad.

This is the smoking picture plan. We have gone for a teenage boy with his hood up smoking against a dirty wall in the rain. We feel that the picture is good as it does not show any highlights about smoking. The boy in the picture is on his own, this is showing that smoking will not give you friends as it it not cool, also the rain and the wall show grimness and is a dull and negative background, this shows that smoking is a grim and not a nice thing to be involved in. The boy in the photo is a teenager who has his hood up, we have planned it so that the boy has his hood up because this is showing he is hiding from his family as they do not know he smokes. This is a common issue in society that teenagers smoke behind their parents backs and so he is hiding and also ashamed.
